I love the hunt for old things that others have no use for, the transformation process and the rewarding end result. I also love the process of seeing broken people restored and set free to live life to the fullest, II Cor. 5:17. God has redeemed the wasted years of our lives and we are so grateful for what He has done for us that we can’t help but share with others how they too can receive freedom and healing from their brokenness and pain.
Below is a quick peek at just a part of our story:
For four years my husband and myself were Directors of Freedom Session in Olympia, Washington. Since moving to South Carolina in August of 2014, we have been doing more one-on-one ministry as we wait to see what God has next. Our purpose in sharing Our Story is to offer hope to those who have pain in their lives. Whatever your struggle might be, abuse, a broken marriage, addiction, self-hatred, perfectionism . . . there is hope and healing through Jesus Christ! Freedom Session is a program that can be done in a small or large group church setting, or at home with a DVD. It is a healing/discipleship journey that uncovers the roots of pain in our lives and invites Jesus Christ to heal those areas of our hearts.
Thank you for allowing me to share a tiny bit of our story. I hope you now have more of an understanding of who I am and why I am all about making Old Things New!
