I’m a home and garden snoop. There. I’ve said it. I am fascinated by the way others live and I want to see more. When I’m out driving and pass an interesting looking neighborhood I’ll often make a quick U-turn so I can do a . . . reeeal . . . slooowww . . . drive by . . . just to lurk a little. If I think I can get by with it I’ll even stop, roll down my window and snap some pictures for my idea file. So last weekend, when I heard about the Greenville Council of Garden Clubs Garden Tour I was elated to have the chance snoop at my leizure, no excuse needed to take as many pictures as I liked!
Over 500 pictures later, here I am to share just a snippet (consider yourself lucky) of the six very different Greenville, South Carolina gardens that I toured. Let’s go!
A Casually Elegant Garden
Secret Garden Cottage
The Mini Biltmore
Of the three different garden styles, Casually Elegant, Secret Garden Cottage and the Mini Biltmore, do you have a favorite? Which one do you like the best? As you may have noticed, I took the most pictures of the Mini Biltmore simply because it was the largest of the three gardens and had the most features, not because it was my favorite . . . though it may have been that too 😉
This was Part One of the garden tour and I think each yard was fantastic but, in my opinion, the gardens in Part Two and Part Three get even better! So if you liked what you saw here you’ll want to click on the links for more. I’m already planning out my own garden space from the inspiration garnered on this Greenville Garden Tour.
Until later, blessings to y’all!

glad to see you back, and the pictures make me want to get out into the yard again, even though I have been out there all day, it’s what we Southerns do.

I am a snoop also – isn’t it fun!
My favorite was the house with the ivy growing up the walls.

So, you’re the one snapping photos of my house, ha! I know it wasn’t you, but occasionally a car would slow down or even stop in front of my house and I see someone take photos. When you don’t know their intent, it makes it a bit creepy. So be careful that they don’t see you and call the cops on you. 🙂
Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos with Thursday Favorite Things.
