Feeling Amazed!

June 12, 2014 by Patti 4 Comments

Have you ever been in a situation where everything is falling into place so perfectly that you’re afraid to speak about it and ruin everything?

Gamblers call that stroke of luck being “on a roll”.

I’m not a gambler (I’d rather spend my money junkin’) and today I’m counting my blessings, looking up to the sky and saying, “Isn’t that just like God?”

These are the things I’ve had on my mind:  When will Mr. OTN’s South Carolina licensure go through and when exactly will he start his new job?  How can I get this house ready to sell with Mr. OTN working so much and when we have so many other things on our plates when he is off work?  How can we shop for a new house long distance and know which neighborhood is best for us?  Will we sell in time to purchase a new home?  Will that “dream house” I found on Zillow still be available when we are ready to purchase (come on, it has brick floors in the kitchen!)?  Will we have to rent for awhile and move twice?  What if this?  What if that?

God as at work in amazing ways.  I can’t share the details yet.  Again, maybe I’m afraid to share and mess it all up!

All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose – Rom. 8:28.  I believe that!  They always have in the past and I know they will in our current situation.

Today, as I see His plan unfolding before my very eyes I’m feeling amazed. All I can do is look up and say, “I KNOW that was you God! THANK YOU!”

Blessings,

My Signature-001P.S. If you don’t know what in the world I’m talking about, late this summer we are moving cross country from Olympia, Washington to Greenville, South Carolina.  Links to two past posts about that can be found HERE (Life Interrupted) and HERE (Shades of Green and a New Thing).

    Patti,
Oh, believe me, dear one. . .I do understand!!!
13 years ago, we moved the 3 1/2 hours from the Eastern side of the Prairie to the SouthCentral side which we now call “home”. We did the move, store, lease, purchase, sale, move again game for nearly 13 months!!! Did I ever mention that “13” is my favorite (and somewhat lucky) number???
Through it all. . .God had a plan and we relied on Him every step of the way!!!
I am totally excited to see and hear of all the amazing things He’s doing in your life at this moment, when you feel you can reveal those things to us!!!
Blessings on you and Mr. OTN!!!
    Fondly,
    Pat

God works in mysterious ways, but when something in question is over, we tend to see that there was a plan all along.

    Good luck!

I can so totally relate to your post, Patti! I too believe that all things work together for good who love Him. But, I am having a hard time putting that into practice as we sit in limbo not knowing about a possible cross country move (that I am not in the least bit wanting). Wishing you the best, thank you for your encouraging post, too, I needed that:)

Hi Patti, I was in a similar situation last year and I am so glad things are falling into place for you!
    Hugs,
